Furniture Repaints

My other job ~

My passion is taking a used piece of furniture that has been discarded, or is simply plain, and transforming it into something unique and beautiful.

I use premium chalk paint and milk paint with no VOCs, from environmentally conscious companies. I hand paint botanical designs on the pieces.

I am available for commissioned work if you have a small piece of furniture that needs new life . . . For clients who live in the Bay Area.

This sweet chair was being given away. I cleaned, sanded and painted it, and gave it family friends for their new daughter.

My knife block was scratched, stained and just old-looking. I sanded it down, stained it a lighter color, and added a flower jungle to both sides.

Hutch, before 2.jpg

I inherited this hutch. It was badly in need of some love . . . I painted it in warm white, cream and taupe. I replaced the drawer pulls, and painted leaves on the front. I sold it to a happy couple in January.

My partner's bedside table went from being a boring brown, to this two-tone piece with hand painted leaves.

My bedside table was raw wood. I installed vintage drawer knobs, used hemp oil to seal the wood and deepen the color, and hand-painted branches and a moon on the side.
